or simply put, the whole week was just a blast.

last monday to wednesday, we had church / community planning. it was fun knowing that i was not active last year. and, it was also great to know that people trust after they hear you talk. because, i honestly i believe that most of these people wouldn’t bother talking to you if they haven’t known you for a long time.

anyway, it was fun. because last year i was puro reklamo. well, now, i have a chance to improve on the events i had complaints.

then, it was ME63 that filled the whole week. i thought that Thermodynamics will be such a bore. i was proven wrong by Sir Ji. with the right instructor, any boring class wouldn’t be such a bore at all. Sir Ji knows this subject well, and it translated to the students knowing exactly what he is trying to point out. every concept is made clear before moving on to the next topic. i am going to pass this course.

i am going to get a 1.0

then, saturday was IE Club Plansem. it was hard to get up at 4am just to prepare for this and Cla’s debut after. i met Grace in cubao where she got a ticket for staying in the lane for buses. funny.

anyway, we arrived at J3s and went to work. it was a fun fun day as ma’am mickey gave a talk about setting directions. it was an enlightening experience where everything i know of the organization became a big question mark. 

the whole acadcomm surely realized that we are one of the committees who could do projects that the organization could boast of. other than winning the EWOC, we, as a committee, had other things in mind.

Cla’s debut was a blast. the food was delicious. the venue was just wonderful. the people were great. never had fun for quite some time. it was like a perfect way to end a wonderful week.

i do hope that you get your wishes. and, i hope that you find happiness the littlest of things that come your way. happy birthday Cla!

this is the part where i say goodbye and hope for new and great things to come.

Acadcomm work starts next week as we try to finalize venues and dates for CJSS saturdays. let’s go!

well, i cannot be content with just getting done with this year. wait, it is the acdemic year i am talking about.

i am nearly done with my first week of summer class. and, by far, it has been a wonderful experience.

the highlights of the week include:

• planning for the annual activties of canossian
• meeting Sir Ji

Sir Ji, probaby, is the best teacher i’ve met in UP. i like his ideas and his outlook towards his students. he does regard UP students as the best students of the country and with that he would want us to develop ourselves into the best that we can be. i know that he teaches this bring subject i would never want to take, ME63. but he really tries his effort for us to understand its concepts. and, he does it well.

i am just proud to enroll in his class. if not, i would fail. haha. NOT. or i would not appreciate Thermodynamics as i appreciate it now.

my planning activities are all successful expecially the canossian one. i’ve met new people and suggested my ideas. now that i am part of this group, it is my duty to do all the things i can to make all of these activities as successful.

i think i can hande these things. time management is the key.

i’m sorry to cut this short but i’m a bit sleepy already.

and, so, i honored it.

now that we are back to regular computer time, i didnt want to be a bearer of bad news. my computer, as what the romans did to jesus, was nailed on the cross. now, computers do not know how to reincarnate or they are not destined to rise from the dead after three days.

after three hard drives, we’ve come to a conclusion that the motherboard is the source of all problems. imagine, it was able to burn three hard drives. what a waste. now, i must work hard to buy myself a new motherboard and hard drive. oh noes.

i hope that i can buy my own stuff before the new semester begins. i cannot leech off my sister every time i need to use the computer.

may i be blessed by Him.

i know he will.

gah. even though this is really hard work, i am liking it.

i should have done this earlier.

i dont think that i am pushing my opinions too hard. but i think that the thing that i am doing is good and it is more coherent and have better flow of thought.

i don’t think they would mind.

this is the only thing i’ve been doing the whole day. so what is there to tell?

the heat was just WOAH today.

i am having a small headache because of the heat.

enrollment day, today. i expected to be done before lunch since i got all the subjects i needed during the enlistment process. however, a small misunderstanding between me and Ma’am Iris proved to be fatal.

my taking of higher psych subjects was taken notice. she said that she couldn’t advise me on this until i’ve already finsihed all the units i need to take. the ones left being ME63 and ES13. so, i decided to cancel this slot and head towards the ME department to manually enlist in ME63.

but, as we know the UP system of enrollment, enlistment will take place after lunch. and, after lunch it is. the number of people was, again, WOAH. most of the people were looking for ES12 slots, which i am proud to say that i am done with. with flying colors at that!

i am just praying to get either a slot in the new class or prerog in Ma’am Juvy’s afternoon class which fits my schedule – because i have an enlisted Eng1 in the morning.

however, due to many conflicts, i had to cancel this Eng1 slot and enroll in ME63 under Sir Ji. which, i think, is a better choice than be stuck in Eng1. haha.

i was nearly suffocated in the process. was bumped a couple of times. shouted in the ear. stepped on and rejected. i did not mind all of that just to get a slot. they say, patience is a virtue, and that goes true to UP enrollment. you should never get discouraged as the opportunity you have been waiting for will come knocking the moment you decide to shut and lock your own door.

all in all, the enrollment process is one of those things that makes studying in UP all worth it. who would want to throw away something that they’ve worked hard for?

not me, i guess.

i was sleeping from 4pm until now. i mean, it is that kind of sleep that you would want after a physically demanding day. but i didnt have one of those. which was weird.

the meeting today was a success. first, because everybody was present. second, they were responsive to what we need to do. last, i think that they really wanted change.

i cannot want for something better than this group of people. i know that this is a small time commitment but the change we can give to this community has more or less a lifetime worth of effect on us and on the people.

i cannot be the traditional leader who relies on past activities to decide. we, as i quote my sister, radical in decision making and planning. hindi na pwede ang nakasanayn lang.

this is the day where i contemplated on my win as president. i never had the chance to think about it last saturday. which was also weird.

i’ll be preparing our presentation for the annual planning as soon as i get my hands on those photos of last years events. sobrang kulang sa documentation.

i gotta go. it’s 1:55am. i am hungry and i need to wake up early to enroll.

my win today was something that i can say is fulfilling.

i should take note that today, i was elected president of the local church community. i honestly wanted the job not for recognition but i can say that i am one of those peole that have the power to change it.

i know i can. and, this is where i start.

year 2009 now has its perfect setup. a new year in college, a director position in the organization and presidency in the community. this isn’t something i would want to brag about but something that i would like to see as a big challenge for me.

this year is my make or break year. if i could end the year with good grades and fulfilled self, then 2010 would be better.

this is the opportunity i’ve been waiting for. this chance of a lifetime.

and, i do not plan to screw up.

well, somehow i am relieved of the heavy burden of exams. at least, my last requirements are too far apart to bring me stress.

the last exam was almost a give-away. i know i’ll pass. my only problem left this semester is IE143. haha.

i do not have anything to do, so i will be catching up on sleep. yey!

the EEE exam scheduled on 7am was canceled and we were just asked to answer problem set questions. i was like, woah. it was a big opportunity to comeback bigtime because my missed exam will also have a grade equal to this final exam. then, i still might snatch a higher grade.

in conjucture to the news that i had a canceled exam, i asked diane whether she was already awake and if i could stay in her dorm and sleep.

anyway, the plan was she invited our other groupmates than morning to finish our IE32 paper. it was a blessing in disguise that i will be able to contribute more to our paper.

there was a lot of stalled moments and sabaw moments. the main reason was that IE143 finals was just around the corner. and, neither of us has studied enough to say that we will pass this exam.

it turned out quite good. i was able to answer questions based on deducing the answer from the choices. and my calculator didn’t have much of a job.

so now, i am laboring my ass off over IE28 and praying that i pass tomorrow’s exam. there is a high probability that i will. and, i know that i can do this.

depression would not do me anything good right now. especially when everything is just on a roll.

i am just working my ass off with everything i need to do. no distractions. okay, very minimal because i checked facebook and multiply. haha.

i only have an ideal 3h20min left to study and do everything. but i can always extend. but somehow, i do not want my exams to suffer, especially EEE.

i am quite proud of myself today for standing up after a sudden downfall. there could be rougher times ahead and this is a good practice.

i just weote this for my daily therapy of writing my feelings. anyway, i gotta go. there are still many things to do.
